Royal British Columbia Museum – Mechanical System Upgrades


The Royal British Columbia Museum is currently in the process of upgrading their Heating, Ventilation, and Air-Conditioning (HVAC) system. Wakefield Acoustics Ltd. have been involved at each stage of the upgrade and have conducted noise measurements and provided design advice to ensure that interior noise and vibration levels are within acceptable ranges. Wakefield Acoustics Ltd. have also assisted the Museum in controlling exterior noise levels at nearby condominiums towers due to the introduction of new rooftop HVAC equipment.
